Robomotion Developer
Robomotion bots that run unattended, in your own workspace
Robomotion gives small and mid-sized teams unattended RPA at a published monthly price, robots on Windows, Linux, or macOS, and AI agents in the same tool. I build Robomotion bots for production: on the right robot type, with credentials in the Vault, per-item checks, resume after interruptions, and alerts your team actually reads. Everything lives in your workspace, so you own it.
Who this is for
- Small and mid-sized teams choosing Robomotion over UiPath or Power Automate
- Finance, property, and operations teams pulling documents from portals every week
- Teams already on Robomotion whose bots fail silently or need a developer to change
Problems I solve
- A bot that works in the Designer but cannot run on a schedule
- Staff downloading PDFs and re-typing values from portals by hand
- Batch runs that stop at the first error, or restart from the beginning
- Invoices and emails in too many layouts for rule-based bots
What you get
What I build
Plan and robot sizing
The smallest Robomotion plan and the number of Production Robots your schedule really needs, before anything is bought.
Portal and document bots
Login, account iteration, PDF downloads, OCR, and data entry into web apps, driven by a config your team can edit.
Agentic flows
AI agent steps (Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, or local Ollama models) for messy documents and free-text requests, calling tested flows as tools.
Production setup
Production Robot on a server you own, robot tokens, Vault credentials, schedules, and triggers.
Resilience and alerts
Per-item checks, retries, resume after interruption, and start, finish, and error alerts with counts.
Migration and handover
Rebuilds of UiPath or legacy bots in Robomotion, a runbook, and optional maintenance when portals change.
Proof of work
Systems I've shipped
Real projects running in production, with the problem, the build, and the outcome.
RPA · Data Pipeline
Utility Bill Data Pipelines (PG&E + SFWater)
Unattended bots that retrieve, OCR, and archive hundreds of utility PDFs from two providers, with no human in the loop.
- Bill retrieval and data entry became fully hands-off for both providers
- One clean, queryable database across PG&E and SFWater
RPA · Property Management
Automated Bill Submission on AppFolio
A bot that files vendor bills in AppFolio for real-estate administrators, from login to saved invoice in seconds.
- Bill entry across multiple property portfolios runs as a batch job
- Attachment handling and field entry are consistent on every bill

Questions about Robomotion Development
Which Robomotion plan do I need?
For bots that run on a schedule without anyone pressing start, usually Pro or Team, because Robomotion's Development Robots cannot be scheduled and the Solo plan has no Production Robot. I size it from your processes before you buy. Details in my Robomotion pricing guide.
Whose Robomotion workspace do you build in?
Yours. You own the workspace, robots, and credentials and invite me in; offboarding is just removing my access.
Can you move our UiPath bots to Robomotion?
Yes. I treat it as a rebuild: keep the bots that still earn their keep, add proper error handling and alerts, and run old and new side by side on real data before switching.
What happens when a portal changes?
The bot checks each page before acting and stops with an alert instead of entering bad data. The fix is usually a selector or step update, covered by optional maintenance.
