RPA bots for the portals and documents APIs cannot reach
Some systems will never have an API: utility portals, property management platforms, vendor sites, legacy apps. RPA bots handle them the way a person would, logging in, downloading documents, reading them with OCR, and entering the data, only unattended, on a schedule, and without typos. I build bots that recover from interruptions and tell you the moment something needs attention.
Who this is for
- Finance and admin teams downloading bills and invoices from portals
- Property managers entering vendor bills into platforms like AppFolio
- Operations teams re-typing data from PDFs into databases or spreadsheets
Problems I solve
- Staff logging into the same portals every week to download PDFs one by one
- Values re-typed from documents into systems, with errors that surface weeks later
- Batch data entry that does not scale without hiring
- Old bots that stop when anything changes and nobody notices
What you get
What I build
Portal automation
Login, navigation, account iteration, and downloads driven by a config your team can edit.
OCR and extraction
Layout-aware OCR that turns PDF bills and invoices into validated, structured data.
Data entry bots
Form filling and attachment uploads in web platforms, in batches, with per-item error checks.
Database delivery
Validated inserts into PostgreSQL or your system of record, with source files archived to cloud storage.
Resilience
Automatic resume after interruptions and alerts on every start, stop, and error.
Tool choice
UiPath, Robomotion, or Playwright depending on your environment, licensing, and scale.
Proof of work
Systems I've shipped
Real projects running in production, with the problem, the build, and the outcome.
RPA · Data Pipeline
Utility Bill Data Pipelines (PG&E + SFWater)
Unattended bots that retrieve, OCR, and archive hundreds of utility PDFs from two providers, with no human in the loop.
- Bill retrieval and data entry became fully hands-off for both providers
- One clean, queryable database across PG&E and SFWater
RPA · Property Management
Automated Bill Submission on AppFolio
A bot that files vendor bills in AppFolio for real-estate administrators, from login to saved invoice in seconds.
- Bill entry across multiple property portfolios runs as a batch job
- Attachment handling and field entry are consistent on every bill
How it works
From first call to running system
-
01
Free 30-min audit
You walk me through the manual process. I tell you honestly whether automation makes sense and roughly what it involves.
-
02
Fixed-scope proposal
If it is a fit, you get a written scope, timeline, and price before any work starts. No obligation.
-
03
Build and test
I build with error handling, retries, and alerting from day one, and test against your real data and edge cases.

04
Handover and support
You get documentation and a walkthrough, plus optional maintenance for when sites, APIs, or credentials change.

Questions about RPA Development
UiPath, Robomotion, or Playwright: which should we use?
UiPath fits organisations that already have it or need its governance features. Robomotion is lighter on licensing for small and mid-sized teams. Playwright is code-first and free, ideal for web-only automation run from a server. I recommend based on your environment, not on a partnership.
What happens when the website the bot uses changes?
The bot detects the failure and alerts you instead of entering bad data. Fixing it is usually a selector or step update, and I offer ongoing maintenance for exactly this.
How do you handle credentials?
Credentials live in your own vault, orchestrator, or environment configuration, never in the workflow code, and bots run under accounts you control.
