Missed Lead Revenue Calculator

See how much revenue slow lead replies and unreturned missed calls cost you each month, and how much instant follow-up automation could win back.

Use your own close rates from your CRM where you can. "Win back" means instant replies, missed-call text-back, and automated follow-up sequences; 40% assumes they rescue less than half of what is slipping.

About this tool

Leads go cold quickly. A form submission answered an hour later converts worse than one answered in minutes, and many people who reach voicemail simply call the next business on the list. This calculator puts a monthly and yearly figure on both leaks using your own lead volume, close rates, and customer value.

It then estimates how much of that could realistically be recovered with automation: an instant text or email to every new lead, missed-call text-back, and follow-up sequences that keep going until the lead replies. These are standard builds in GoHighLevel and similar CRMs, or with n8n on top of any CRM.

Common uses

  • Put a number on what slow follow-up costs before investing in a CRM or automation
  • Justify missed-call text-back or an AI receptionist to a business owner
  • Compare lead-response performance across locations or sales reps

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find my close rates?

Your CRM pipeline report usually has them. If you have never split them by response time, compare leads contacted the same hour against everything else for the last few months. If you have no data at all, keep the defaults conservative.

What is missed-call text-back?

An automation that detects an unanswered call and immediately sends the caller a text, such as "Sorry we missed you, how can we help?" with a booking link. It keeps the conversation alive instead of letting the caller try a competitor.

Why only recover 40%, not everything?

Automation speeds up the first touch, but some leads were never going to buy and some still need a person. Assuming you recover less than half of the gap keeps the estimate honest.

Is my data uploaded to a server?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript, so nothing you type is transmitted, logged, or stored anywhere. You can even use it offline once the page has loaded.
