QR Code Generator
Create QR codes for URLs, text, Wi-Fi, or contact info, and download them as PNG images.
About this tool
Turn any text or URL into a QR code, choose the size and error-correction level, and download the result as a PNG. Generation happens entirely in your browser, so the content of your QR codes stays private.
Higher error-correction levels keep codes scannable when partially covered or printed small — useful when adding a logo or printing on textured surfaces.
Common uses
- Link printed materials — menus, flyers, business cards — to a website
- Share a Wi-Fi password with guests without spelling it out
- Open a long URL on a phone without typing it
Frequently asked questions
Do QR codes expire?
The code itself never expires — it is just encoded text. If it encodes a URL, it works exactly as long as that URL keeps working.
What does the error-correction level change?
It adds redundancy so damaged or obscured codes still scan: L survives ~7% damage, M ~15%, Q ~25%, and H ~30%. Higher levels make the code denser.
Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript — nothing you type is transmitted, logged, or stored anywhere. You can even use it offline once the page has loaded.
